Oral presentations

- 25 min including 5 min discussion
The presentations are recorded and accessible in replay the day after in the extranet page of the website (access with code reserved for participants). Replays will be deleted few days ater the workshop.
IFPEN cannot be held responsible for the use that could be made by the participants of the information communicated in the oral presentations or the poster sessions. Each presenter is responsible for the information he/she presents and on which he/she communicates, and for its level of confidentiality.
Mandatory: form “Authorization for use of my image” to be filled, signed and return to BMworkshop@ifpen.fr

Format of presentations – to be scrupulously respected

- A powerpoint or pdf file
- The file size is imperatively limited to 15 Mb
- Landscape format
- Your ppt's should not contain any animations and any video
- Your file may content web links
- the lecture hall screens allow you to browse on the web and share your camera
- Your presentation can be downloaded very easily and rapidly on the screen with a single click from your laptop.

Projection on 2 screens on 3 in the lecture hall dedicated for your presentation (cf. illustration above)
For the slides of your presentation and/or to share the webcam of your laptop


PREVIEW ROOMS will be available for all the duration of the symposium.

                                                                                                         IMPORTANT

MEETING IN PREVIEW ROOM - from 13:00 to 14:00 (Central European Summer Time) the day of your presentation.
To test and load your presentation. At the end of your trial, you could copy your URL. You will only have to paste on the screen where you will be presenting and that just at the time of your presentation.

Laval Virtual technical assistance will be available in these rooms for any questions.
Instructions to use the screens

We remind you that the Green Center is open from Friday 4 June. You can, if you wish, come and discover the spaces freely before the workshop.
 

Remember that you first have to register online to gain access to the Green Center.
 

You are a poster author

The poster sessions will be held in a virtual place that looks as follows

    • Each author will be given a dedicated screen for the sessions posters. The identification will be posted at the entrance of the room and on the Basin Modeling workshop website
       
    • During the time assigned for the poster session, you are invited to stand next to your poster to answer the questions of the visitors
       
    • The content of the poster will only be visible to avatars inside the blue zone surrounding each position
       
    The format of the poster to be provided

    The virtual workshop format implies a specific poster format that we ask you to apply according to the following criteria: 
    -    A powerpoint presentation of 5 slides max
    -    Landscape format
    -   Your ppt's should not contain any animations and any video
    -    Your file may content web links
    -    The file size is limited to 15 MB 
    We invite you to take inspiration from this template
    Your dedicated screen allows you to browse on the web and share your camera if needed.

    The file pdf of your poster must be sent to BMworkshop@ifp.fr at the latest on 1st June identified as follows:  nameauthor.pdf  (author presenting the poster)

    You also have the choice to upload it yourself on your dedicated screen from Friday 4 June afternoon.

    Remember that a poster is a way to communicate scientific information in a synthetic and stand-alone format. It must be understandable and readable even in your absence.
